The Big Questions & Newcomers Class at St. John's Lafayette

St. John’s, Lafayette hosts classes that take on the big questions of the Christian faith and life.  Folks to the Christian faith or newcomers to St. John's are especially encouraged, but all are welcome to join. These classes are a part of the program for adult Confirmation into the Episcopal Church.

The BIG Questions classes focus on some of the main areas of the Christian faith and life. The sequence—Christianity, the Bible, The Episcopal Church and Anglican Christianity, and Discipleship—are meant to explore some of the larger questions of the faith. The classes serve as an introduction to the Christian faith or to the Episcopal Church, but the classes go much deeper. In all, the idea is to take intentional time to explore the complexity of our faith.

Classes run from 6 - 8 p.m.  There’s dinner and childcare during each session for those who need it. Besides that, we’re learning some really important stuff about the Christian story.

The next session of Big Questions classes will be announced soon.  Check back here or contact Bradley Pace by EMAIL or St. John's Episcopal Church by EMAIL or at 765.742.4079.
