Sunday
Worship
Sunday
worship is like a family reunion – the family gathers from
wherever it scattered was during the week. Once gathered, we celebrate
the Holy Eucharist twice each Sunday, at 8:00 and again at 10:15
a.m. A time for coffee and conversation follows each service (these
times are hosted by volunteers and you are welcome to take a turn
as you might feel comfortable in doing so). There is no music
at the early service, except on a few special days of the year,
like Easter Sunday. The choir provides musical leadership at the
later service on most Sundays of the normal academic year. Ours
is a volunteer choir, and welcomes new voices. The adults rehearse
on Thursday evenings at 7:15 p.m. and on Sunday mornings at 9:15
a.m.; check with the Director of Music for children’s rehearsal
times.
Between the two Sunday services there is an opportunity for Christian
Education for all. The nursery is available for children up to
age five from 9:00 until 11:45 a.m. Education time begins at 9:15.
Children and families (and education leaders) are welcome to worship
either before or after the education time. |
