Rector's Welcome

Welcome in the name of Christ. St. John's Church is a worshipping, believing, and serving congregation in downtown Lafayette. There are classes, programs, and events for all ages. From our nursery program, to our children's Godly Play program, to Sunday night Youth Group, to choir, to service in the Food Pantry, and more, everyone can find a place for involvement.

St. John's is made up of a diverse membership gathering from all parts of Tippecanoe County. Come visit our garden on Ferry Street where you can also walk the labyrinth or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. On the Sixth Street side of St. John's you will find a community outreach center where a variety of twelve step recovery groups meet and where neighbors can find food assistance four days per week.

With services at both 8:00 and 10:15 on Sunday morning, we are a living faith community grounded in the love of God revealed in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is lived out especially through offering beautiful and meaningful liturgy and music as well as in a variety of ways we proclaim the love of God in acts of service.

I hope you will explore our fellowship and mission more as you continue your visit to our site, and more especially, it would be a privilege to welcome you for a visit at St. John's.
