Summer Book Read—How We Learn to Be Brave | Sunday, August 10
11:45 a.m. in the Bishops’ Parlor
In her book How We Learn to Be Brave, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde tells stories about facing decisive moments in life. These moments may be life changing or moments we face on a daily basis. Here are a few questions to consider. How do you define "brave"? How do you see being brave in context of decision making? Has an experience of being brave changed you? If so, how?
A final discussion of the book is scheduled for Sunday, August 10 at 11:45. We will meet at St. John's in the Bishop's Parlor. Grab a drink and a snack and joining the conversation. For more information about the summer read, contact Maggie McClure.
