There are many opportunities to volunteer, including shopping for children’s toys, hosting a family on the day of Jubilee, baking sweet breads (such as banana bread, etc), and more.  There also will be a family setup night to help arrange the toy rooms and prepare the family gift bags.

“LONGEST NIGHT” SERVICE
Sunday, December 21, 6:00 p.m.

Christmas can be a painful time. To honor and name the difficulty of this season, St. John’s will host a “Longest Night” Service at 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 21. Let us come together, sharing and hearing prayers, Scripture, and music that acknowledge God’s presence for those who struggle and for those who mourn. Hear the good news that God’s Word comes to shine light into our darkness. This service is a joint ministry of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd and St. John’s.
