2026 Annual Giving Campaign
We’ve heard it all our lives: the only constant is change. And indeed, here we are thrust into a season of change at St. John’s. But we would like to focus on the things that don’t change. Principally among them, of course, is the Love of God, the Grace of Jesus Christ, and the Fellowship and Presence of the Holy Spirit. We try at all times to make these manifest as we live out our commitment to the mission of St. John’s:
St. John’s Episcopal Church is a worshiping community
called by Christ to grow spiritually and to nurture that growth in others,
to strive for justice and peace among all people
and to respect the dignity of every human being,
to share God’s love and our lives by reaching out to our community,
and to make Christ known through word and action.
This is, absolutely, a time to reflect, to take stock of ourselves as individual Christians, and to take stock of ourselves as members of a worshipping body committed to the noble thoughts we express in our mission. We will understand this season of change as a season of growth and renewal. Jesus is our north star, and with God’s help we will steer by that unchanging star.
The theme of this year’s Annual Giving Campaign is Go Forth for God: Our Continuing Ministry. We believe that we have grown as a worshiping body, and we will forever be grateful to Bradley for the massive role he played in leading us in that growth. But now we continue. We continue in our growth as followers of Christ. We continue in our love for each other. We continue in our efforts to live out our mission — Worshiping, Sharing, Making Christ Known — within and beyond the walls of our beloved church.
We hope you’ll make plans to attend the Annual Giving Campaign Kick-Off on Sunday, October 26, following the 10:15 a.m. service. We will worship and celebrate our time together. We hope you will come prepared with your hopes and dreams for St. John’s. We also hope that during this season of giving that you will consider how your time, talent, and treasure allow our church to grow our ministry together.
