    Children's Formation

    St. John’s joyfully welcomes children into the life of our community including in all aspects of worship. Children have meaningful opportunities to engage in liturgy and actively participate as ushers, lectors, choristers, and acolytes during both children’s chapel and Sunday services.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

St. John’s members are encouraged to become volunteers and join the fun! Volunteers assist and keep up with the children.

Youth + Camp

THE GREATER LAFAYETTE EPISCOPAL YOUTH GROUP

The youth from the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, West Lafayette & St. John’s, Lafayette meet regularly (usually twice a month on Sundays) for community and worship. Youth Group is for youth in grades 6-12.

INDYDIO YOUTH EVENTS

The Diocese of Indianapolis hosts youth programing events throughout the year including fall and spring retreats at Waycross and more.

WAYCROSS SUMMER CAMP

Waycross Summer Camp has provided Episcopal summer camp programming for children and youth of all ages since 1957. Waycross balances long-standing camp traditions with new and interactive activities each session. Campers and staff build community while experiencing adventure and exploring the wonders of God’s creation. St. John’s is proud to offer scholarships for camp.
